Fifth ITMA ASIA + CITME Exhibition Set For A Landmark Display

The fifth ITMA ASIA + CITME exhibition that opens October 21, 2016, has crossed a milestone turning out to be the largest show in the series since its inception. A total of 1,673 exhibitors from 28 countries and economies are showcasing a wide array of machinery and solutions to an expected viewership of around 100,000 during the five-day exhibition.

The combined exhibition grosses over 170,000 square metres of exhibition space – 12 per cent larger than the previous edition. At present, the combined strength of ITMA ASIA and CITME brands assumes high significance. The combined might turns out to be Asia’s most important textile machinery show in terms of exhibiting space and technology.

Talking on the sidelines, Wang Shutian, President of China Textile Machinery Association said, “Even though economic conditions might be difficult at the moment, textile makers recognize that it is even more critical for them to invest in better technological solutions and upgrade their facilities.”
