Karl Mayer All Set To Display Its Innovations At India ITME 2016

Karl Mayer plans to showcase its innovations in hall number 6, stand B3, at India ITME 2016, Mumbai, which the company has announced in a press release.

Innovations in warp knitting, warp preparation technology as well as technical textiles will be displayed, during the six days of the show. The company will display its successful duo belonging to the tricot segment, namely the HKS 3-M, as another representative of the fourth generation of high-performance tricot machines. HKS 4-M EL, the high-speed all-rounder which has set new standards in terms of patterning possibilities and productivity will be displayed as well. Both models will be showcased in a working width of 218 inches and a gauge of E 28, besides Leo, which is a clever technology for energy saving and cost saving, supplied as a standard feature on all these machine types. Tthe HKS 4-M EL can make use of its design advantages offered by its EL function to produce a very delicate, lightweight fabric in lace.

At the expo, the HKS 3-M machine will produce rigid sportswear textile with a filigree, grainy surface in a woven look. The maximum targeted speed is 2,800 min-1. Despite its impressive speed, the HKS 3-M is highly efficient due to the specific function integration on the basis of Kamco 2.

The company will present its new lace machine concept called Lace.Express for the first time in India, which has set new standards in terms of price-performance ratio to manufacture garment lace.

However, the highlights of Karl Mayer’s warp preparation business unit will be its innovative solutions for sizing, sectional warping and for the denim business.

Exhibits would include a smart size box which operates on the basis of the spray technology, thus, minimising the process costs, as well as the new Isomatic – a short warp sampling machine for standard applications which can achieve an excellent price-performance ratio.

Visitors associated with the denim sector will get to see a model of the company’s complete indigo dyeing unit called Prodye.

The company will also display its innovations in the field of technical textiles, offering a meeting point with valuable information for the manufacture of reinforcement layer fabrics for composites. Fibre-reinforced composite materials which are used for wide-ranging applications, ranging from sports equipment to aircraft, will be seen at Karl Mayer’s stand.

The show will be complemented by decorative islands showing, among other things, attractive sari, lace and sportswear collections, video films and the presentation of the Karl Mayer Academy India, the release stated.
