STINGbye to Partner Asian Distributors To Market Its Insect Bite Proof Garments

STINGbye, the Spanish major in technical textile ware, which came out with insect sting repellent clothes, has announced that they are looking for a partner who would want to accompany them in the Asian markets like India and Bangladesh.  Their garments include T-shirts, pants and caps which can protect you from mosquito bites and other insect bites.

 

According to STINGbye spokesperson, “Our approach is strategic. Some 10 years ago, we made a commitment to this technology in the Spanish market. STINGbye has developed the whole concept for this technical fabric bathed in permethrin. Today the product is consolidated in Spain, Mexico and various Latin American countries.”

 

The spokesperson elaborated that one of the reasons for the display of their mosquito repellent wear in Tech Textil is to bring about a symbiosis with an Asian trade partner. “We hope to find distributors and companies willing to bet on a product that works and offers the maximum guarantee and quality,” she explained.

 

Stating that entering the Asian market is a great challenge for STINGbye, the spokesperson added, “Due to the atmospheric conditions of certain countries of this continent, our product can have a great reception. Our clothes are effective in 94 percent before all kinds of vectors (insects) that transmit diseases. They are of an excellent quality and that is why we plan to enter the market soon as we feel our product is waiting.”

 

“The level of penetration we expect is high since any inhabitant of the population can make use of our shirts, pants, caps, etc. Our range is extensive and conforms to the needs of the user. Men, women or children and now also pets can make use of STINGbye items. That is why we have the certainty that penetration in the Asian population will be good. We believe that the reason is very simple: our clothes cover the needs of any inhabitant, are affordable and suitable to day-to-day,” added the spokesperson.

The garments come in Kaki, marine, red black and pink colours weighing about 145 grams per square metre. The garments also adhere to the technical specification that the woven fabric is treated with permethrin.  

 

Currently, this Spanish company based In Barcelona are all set to present  the new developments of their woven anti-mosquitoes which are in sale for two years in this year’s Frankfurt fair.
