STRETCH FABRIC RANGE

Klopman also exhibited its new Stretch fabric range, created with polyester/cotton to offer greater freedom of movement and total ease of wear. The superior stretch and recover qualities also mean that garments flex and respond to movement without placing strain on their construction, which means they maintain their original shape and appearance.

There are three ranges of fabrics to meet every customer’s needs: Star-Line, developed using Klopman’s fabric construction technology; the K-Flex line that blends the XLA fibre - an innovative and advanced elastomeric fibre that brings new levels of performance; and Cool Stretch, which includes the fabrics Escalade and Lagonda produced using Lycra T400 by Invista.

FOCUS ON SUSTAINABILITY

Klopman has recently achieved Level 3 (the maximum result possible) in the prestigious STeP certification, released by the International Oeko-Tex Association. It represents a new standard system to measure manufacturing performances in terms of environmental performance, occupational safety and social working conditions along the entire textile chain. The certification applies to all processing stages, from spinning and weaving to dyeing and finishing, and analyses the facility’s performances in terms of environmental performance; workers’ health and safety; social responsibility; chemical products and their use;  and environmental management.

The certificate indicates the general level reached by the company, expressed in a percentage, indicating the level and the score achieved in the six macro requirements involved.
