Silicon Valley Hosts Centric Software’s Webinar On Sustainability

Starting today, Silicon Valley will witness the hosting of a webinar titled 10 policies of Sustainability, which is the brainchild of Centric Software. Centric Software is a solution provider for retail, fashion, luxury, footwear, outdoor and consumer goods companies. It provides solutions in the domain of Product Lifecycle Management. The webinar is aimed at creating environmentally sustainable apparels on an increasing scale.

 

In order to assist global apparel brands simultaneously obtain a competitive edge and support sustainability in the production process, the host company has invited experts in the field of sustainability from the University of Delaware, namely Dr. Huantian Cao, Marsha Dickson and Irma Ayers. These are professors who will discuss sustainability at length during the course of the webinar. The University of Deleware, incidentally, is instrumental in the creation of Sustainable Apparel Coalition, in its capacity as a founder member.

 

As the topics of sustainability and competitive edge are simultaneously being addressed, some of the questions that are sought to be answered and addressed include: How can apparel manufacturers and traders cutting across the supply chain increase sustainability? How to effectuate a competitive edge for apparel companies without compromising on environmental issues through innovative solutions provided by Product Management Lifecycle (PML)? How to convert the maintenance of sustainability into a competitive asset in the apparel industry?

 

 The PLM solutions, provided by Centric Software cut across the value chain of the apparel industry and give them a sole version that offers honest solutions to their conflict between sustainability and profitability.
