VDMA: German Technology to meet Indian Textiles

A technological conference -“German technology meets Indian textiles” organized by the German VDMA Textile Machinery Association will be held in Mumbai and Coimbatore on Dec 3 and Dec 5 respectively.

Indian textile companies aiming for new products, improved quality of fabrics and enhanced competitiveness will get an opportunity to learn more about the latest solutions to realize these objectives from 14 well-known German textile machinery and accessories builders.

Topics related to twisting, knitting, warp-knitting, weaving, finishing and dyeing machinery, textiles testing and measurement and control equipment will be presented. Major application areas will cover garments, home textiles as well as industrial applications (technical textiles) for medical, building and automotive industry among others.

Moreover, important cross-topics like energy and material efficiency will be presented in the framework of the VDMA sustainability initiative Blue Competence. Issues like Life Cycle Costs, certification and labeling as well as buyer’s credits (export finance) will enrich the program for the benefit of the participants of the Indian textile industry.

Starting from October, visitors can register online for the presentations and arrange meetings with the German companies and their agents.
