IACC Targets US$ 100 Billion In US-India Collaborative Trade In Textiles

IACC Textile Forum is organising an exploratory webinar on textiles - `Indo-US Bilateral Partnership: Focused Sector: Textiles: New Opportunities: Innovative Products: B2B’ on September 2nd, 3^rd and 4^th, 2021, 06.30 p.m. – 9pm, IST. Textile Excellence is the media partner for the event. Indo American Chamber of Commerce is working closely and in a collaborative manner with the US Embassy, New Delhi and US Consulate, Mumbai with a mandate to work towards achieving US$ 100 billion bilateral trade in textiles and clothing. IACC has identified textiles and apparel among the major items of focus, and will work resolutely to achieve the target of US$ 100 billion collaborative business in this segment. This will include not just trade, but also investments, collaborative research, and exploring opportunities in new innovative, still unexplored areas of the textile business. The IACC Textile Forum works to create a favourable trade equation for both India and the US. The Indian textile industry already has strong trade relations with US buyers. As US diversifies its sourcing, this is an opportune time for both countries to strengthen their engagement easily and directly. The common language, respect of law and ease of business are advantages. With this objective, IACC Textile Forum is organising an exploratory webinar on textiles - `Indo-US Bilateral Partnership: Focused Sector: Textiles: New Opportunities: Innovative Products: B2B’ on September 2nd, 3^rd and 4^th, 2021, 06.30 p.m. – 9pm, IST. This free zoom webinar will be recorded, it will be live on YouTube and the recorded version will be shared with various US textile associations and in Washington DC. Industry leaders from large businesses such as Reliance Industries, Sutlej Textiles & Industries, Welspun Group, Indo Count Industries, who have significant presence in the USA market will be actively sharing their perspectives and experiences of the market, and advise on how to do business across the entire textile supply chain. There will be specifics on how both countries can benefit from this bilateral business boost.
