SMPL Expands Cotton Yarn Capacity By 10,000 MTPA

Sagar Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd, a star export house in Madhya Pradesh has commissioned its fifth cotton yarn manufacturing unit. The company has added production capacity of 10,000 mtpa with 42,000 spindles. With this, the company’s installed capacity has now reached 200,000 spindles, producing 40,150 mtpa of FLO certified yarns, CUC certified yarns, BCI yarns, Lycra core spun yarns (carded and combed), Elli twist combed compact yarns, slub yarns, combed compact yarns for weaving and knitting, Rieter compact yarn, twist yarn, TFO yarns. The company also has an installed capacity of 30 ultra-modern knitting machines that are a combination of open width, rib and tubular machines, with an installed capacity of 6600 mtpa of fabric. With this capacity expansion, the company will be able to offer faster deliveries alongwith an enlarged product portfolio.
