The Denim Deal, a leading global initiative driving
post-consumer recycled (POCR) cotton adoption, has unveiled its first-ever
denim collections at Kingpins Amsterdam, marking a major leap toward scalable
circular fashion. The debut includes three collaborative collections that
demonstrate denim’s readiness for circularity at scale, integrating design,
technology, and sustainability.
The EMEA Hub Collection, developed with Dorlet,
Sharabati, Kipas, Ereks Blue Matters, and PDNA, features 19 garments showcasing
advanced traceability and design innovation. Each piece includes removable
branded buttons from Dorlet, sustainable manufacturing from Ereks, and PDNA’s
Digital Product Passport (DPP), which connects supply chain data to each
garment.
The India Hub has also introduced two exclusive
collections, produced by Raymond UCO and Bhaskar Denim, under the leadership of
Enviu and GATS. These lines incorporate Green Story’s DPP and Product
Environmental Footprint tools, post-consumer recycled cotton, and Jeanologia’s
green finishing technologies.
According to the Denim Deal, these collections go beyond
prototypes, offering a replicable model that blends POCR cotton, digital
transparency, and measurable impact. The initiative targets one billion pairs
of jeans made with at least 20% POCR cotton by 2030, advancing global
sustainability benchmarks. The Denim Deal invites brands worldwide to
collaborate in building a circular, transparent, and future-ready denim
industry.
