Marzoli Remote Maintenance Solution Promises Long Term Health Of The Machines

New innovations filled the booth with enthusiastic visitors at the Marzoli pavilion in ITMA, Milan. We walked around, witnessed the innovations and understood there is definitely more to decipher. David Faini, Managing Director, Marzoli spoke to us to indulge our curiosities’ and took us to the depths of the innovations, on display at the booth.

MRM-Marzoli Remote Maintenance solution was the newest innovation and one of its kind technology displayed at ITMA, Milan. Tell us more about this.

Marzoli Remote Maintenance solution is the first of its kind innovation for the textile industry. The system of maintenance begins at the point when we install sensors on the critical parts of the machines at the spinning mills. These sensors catch the functional changes owing to the temperature, vibration and other changes during operation. The information is then transferred via internet to our IOT cloud, which has been provided by Microsoft and then this data is analysed by algorithms, which Marzoli has developed. This helps us track the problems within the machine quite accurately. This ensures that timely maintenance of the machine is done at regular intervals and thereby this works as an assurance that the machines would keep running and performing at the highest at all times.

How was the innovation received at ITMA, 2015?

The feedback we have received is quite positive. As soon as the customers see this innovation, it's a new flash of light for them. They become extremely confident and happy about the new technology and just wait to install the same for their benefits. The decision makers have also shown extreme interest in our innovation. The customers are really happy to see how much they can achieve with this simple innovation.

How cost effective is this new technology?

Marzoli Remote Maintenance solution promises a long term health of the machines. The components, the working of the machines increases manifold over time. The machine is freed from working under stressful conditions which adds to the lifeline of the machine. Definitely this is a cost effective solution for the industry that implies less maintenance, better performance and altered longevity of the machines.

Marzoli works on the principle of 'Green Technology'. How has the company walked the green line so far?

Our attempt has always favoured better working of the machines, minimising the use of technology in our machines. Effective R&D and smart engineering enables us to cut on unnecessary working processes and thereby modify and enhance the performance of the machines as a whole. Going by this effort we have always functioned our machines at the lowest levels of energy consumption. Today we are very strong on the green path and have a very strict engineering policy for our machines. The green policy also extends to reducing the after production waste and we have an understanding with our suppliers which ensures that we only use recyclable materials for production. This completes the green cycle of efficiency for Marzoli.
