Vardhman Textiles Registers A Net Profit Rise Of 61.9%

Vardhman Textiles, an India based textile giant producing fibres, yarns, sewing threads, fabrics and garments, reported a rise of 61.9% in its net profit for the first three quarters of fiscal 2015-16 to Rs 435.56 crore, the company mentioned in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The company had posted a profit of Rs 268.91 crore in the first nine months of fiscal 2014-15, ending on 31 March 2015.

 

It posted a net income of Rs 4225.15 crore from operations in the first nine months of FY16 as compared to the total net income of Rs 4438.41 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal. Total expenses in the company was reported to be Rs 3638.12 crore for this period as compared to Rs 4007.54 crore in the same period last fiscal. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was Rs 588.36 crore in nine months period of FY16 as compared to Rs 350.91 crore in FY15.
