ITAMMA Acts As Flag Bearer Of Indian Textile Machinery And Accessory Industry In Turkey

Signs MOU with TEMSAD

 

ITAMMA participated in recently concluded ITM 2016 exhibition along with its member companies in Istanbul, Turkey. It was the only Textile Engineering Association from India to participate in the global textile machinery and technology show. At the ITAMMA stall, 4 ITAMMA members participated under share a table scheme and 19 members participated under catalogue display scheme. Besides, more than 25 ITAMMA members have participated at the exhibition with separate booths along with their local agents

 

With this invitation from the Organizer, ITAMMA gave an opportunity to its members to participate in this Exhibition by working out 2 competitive schemes under ITAMMA Pavilion.

 

ITAMMA has received overwhelming response from the show and Mayank J Roy, President, ITAMMA said "We are pleased to say that more than 150 potential customersvisited ITAMMA stall registering various enquiries related to machines, components, and showing interest in agencies and dealership of Indian machines and components." ITAMMA has also signed a MOU with Turkish Textile Machinery Association TEMSAD for co-operation, market support and sharing of knowledge between the two organisations. The MOU signing ceremony with TEMSAD was held on 1st June, 2016 atTUYAP Convention centre.

 

TEMSAD has also organised a B2B meeting with Iranian Delegation during the signing ceremony, which was attended by 20 Iranian delegates and 12 ITAMMA members. Elaborating on the co-operation with TEMSAD, N. D. Mhatre, Director General (Tech), ITAMMA said "ITAMMA is confident that this MOU will not only bring two associations closer but will also give opportunities to textile industries of both the countries to grow in this competitive global market in the fields of hi-tech latest and cutting edge technologies through projects like JV's and transfer of technologies for delivering state-of-the-art machines and accessories. This MOU will also create a common business platform for the manufacturers, traders, dealers and suppliers of textile machines and accessories of both the countries. Already, our member-participants are working with Turkish manufacturers and we shall be able to help them to deliver good quality of machines and accessories at competitive price."

 

On behalf of ITAMMA Mr. Mayank J. Roy, President, signed the MOU and on behalf of TEMSAD Mr. Adil Nalbant, President, signed the MOU.
