YiwuTex 2016 Offered Intelligent & Green Manufacturing Solutions For Textile Industry

The show attracted 9,380 local and international trade visitors from 36 countries

YiwuTex 2016 successfully concluded on 16 June, 2016 at Yiwu International Expo Centre, Zhejiang, PR China which was organised with the theme "Enabling Design and Fabrics Innovation through New Textile Technologies". The exhibition was widely supported by new and recurring exhibitors, with a show area of 13,200 sq.m housing 160 exhibitors from 10 countries and regions to showcase 555 professional textile machineries. Many exhibitors, exchanging information on cost-effective transformation solutions with industry buyers, highly valued the professionalism and business result of YiwuTex 2016. The 3-day show attracted 9,380 local and international trade visitors from 36 countries and regions. Over 60 industrial associations and enterprise delegations visited the show and some textile enterprises have placed orders on-site.

Li Jing, Marketing Manager of Zhejiang Lanyu Digital Technology Co., Ltd. regarded YiwuTex as a more specialized knitting machinery show, but found many on-site visitors were interested in digital printing. She suggested that digital print technology could be incorporated in the manufacturing process of traditional textile machinery to develop new products and applications. Li Jing is looking forward to more promotional channels of digital printing in the next edition of YiwuTex in order to further expand its market and customer pool.

Industry Buyers Gathered with Satisfactory Feedback

Chen Chun Hao from Taiwan Chang Shun Hosiery Co., Ltd. said, "It was our first time to visit Yiwutex. We mainly focused on processing equipment like marking machine and sewing machine, and have explored a lot of new and different suppliers. After talking to some exhibitors, we found several matched ones that could provide our preferred products, which was very satisfying and fruitful for us."

Xiao from Bochuang Apparel Co., Ltd. expressed his preference on specialised exhibitions like YiwuTex over other comprehensive ones. They found some suitable machines on-site and have also planned to place order with L.G.L. (Italy) for their seamless underwear machinery accessories.

Zhou Qingwu, member of Rui-an City Needle Spins the Profession Association, mainly focused on automated machinery and has liaised with several relevant exhibitors on purchasing suspension system machines. Zhou praised the abundant equipment on-site and advised the organizer to increase end-product display, as it would be more straightforward and effective to show machinery together with the products manufactured by it.

The request for a structural adjustment of textile and apparel industry is imperative, which encourages enterprises to adopt creative design, new materials and big data to integrate resources and achieve transformation. YiwuTex 2016 has invited international experts to share new concepts and cutting-edge technologies in terms of "Advanced Textile Industry Forecasting" and "Knitted Digital Print Arena".

The Santoni Sports Socks Design Competition has attracted a number of designers to join and present their creative design concepts. The award presentation ceremony endorsed six excellent winners whose diversified and multi-functional product designs have won the appreciation of judges and on-site visitors.

Another highlight of YiwuTex 2016, the Knitwear Display Zone, has showcased many cutting-edge hosiery products from renowned exhibitors. The functional socks for Elderly from the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) aimed to provide moisturising and antibacterial functions, as well as comfortable hand touch for the elderly who suffered from dry skin or poor blood circulation. The Lycra® LIVING LIGHTS technology developed by INVISTA equipped stockings with more natural looking and rich colors, providing consumers with fashionable, comfortable & slinky stockings. YiwuTex is held annually in Yiwu & next show would be from 13-15 June 2017.
