Cinte Techtextil To Display Global Vista For Technical And Nonwoven Textiles

China is shortly set to flex its muscles in the technical and nonwoven textiles sector with the launch of the Cinte Techtextil China (CTC) exhibition that will run in Shanghai from October 12 to 14, 2016. The exhibition is slated to attract the most diverse exhibitor line-up for trade buyers to avail at the Sagnhai New International Expo Centre.

 

The mega event has plans for 480 suppliers from 26 countries to highlight their products. Though it’s branded as an international exhibition, there will be a strong domestic presence too, said Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager, Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. She explained that the other sectors in the Chinese textile industry are in a more mature stage of development whereas the technical textile sector has scope for rapid expansion and development. She backed her claim citing figures and stating a growth of 10.9%  was recorded in the first half of the year.

 

The exhibition will have pavilions from Belgium, Germany, Italy, Taiwan and South Korea. In addition, there will be individual exhibitors from 19 countries that include Denmark, Japan, Poland and Sweden for the first time.

 

Chinese exhibitors who will have dominant presence in the domestic pavilions include Shangtex Holding that will feature woven fabrics, laid webs and knitting fabrics; China Hi-Tech Corp which will display fibres and machinery; and the Beijing Guanghua Textile Group that will display a range of technical textile products.

 

The exhibitors both domestic and overseas will cover 12 product application areas in all and some of the industry’s biggest names will feature. The exhibition will also feature a panel discussion for the first time. The discussion which will be held on day one of the exhibition is titled, “The Latest Trends and Developments of Technical Fibre in Nonwoven Applications.
