SSM To Showcase Eight New Products At ITME 2016, Mumbai

Swiss textile machinery manufacturer Schärer Schweiter Mettler (SSM) AG plans to showcase eight new products at Hall Number 1 (booth D17), at the 10^th India International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITME) 2016 in Mumbai, the company has announced.

The event, which is scheduled from December 3 to December 8, is expected to draw participation by around 1,500 exhibitors, from around 95 countries, in areas ranging from raw material to finished textile products, the release stated.

Machines for dye package winding, assembly winding (doubling), air-texturing as well as sewing thread finish winding will be exhibited, according to the release.

The company will exhibit its SSM X-Series machines like models TWX-W/D, PWX-W and PSX-W/D, which are considered the most cost-effective winding solutions.

Another eye catcher at the forthcoming event will be the SSM Xeno, a modular platform covering dye package winding, rewinding as well as doubling applications.

Three other leading SSM winding technologies as well as the well-known sewing thread finish winding machine TK2-20 CT for cones, will also be showcased at the event.

Besides these applications, SSM will also display machines for false twist texturing, air covering, draw winding, yarn singeing and conventional covering, besides its X-Series of machines, the release stated.
