The eighth version of Agrovision which is Vidarbha’s largest agri summit that will be conducted on November 14, 2016, at Nagpur focused on how to help the distressed cotton farmers of VIdarbha to integrate their services up the supply chain and secure their finances.
The function will be attended by Textile Minister Smriti Irani who is the chief guest and Textile commissioner Kavita Gupta who is the guest of honor. It will be presided over by Nitin Gadkari, Minister of road transport, highways and shipping.
The conference will facilitate communication and exchange of ideas among cream of the textile industry in India give a big boost to bringing in infrastructure for forward and backward integration throughout the supply chain for cotton textiles in Vidarbha. It will provide networking and business opportunities across people from different parts of the globe who contribute strongly to the cotton textile industry.
The expert panel will also take a look at the changes in textile and clothing industry on the domestic and international front and participate in two panel discussions at the venue. According to the organizers, the conference will help boost the confidence of local entrepreneurs in Vidarbha . This in turn will help them to evince keen interest on ensuring integrated and holistic development of Vidarbha.
