Colorjet To Showcase Its High Speed Direct-to-fabric Printer At ITME

Colorjet plans to showcase its high speed direct-to-fabric printer named ‘the Metro’ during India  ITME in hall 2, stall A6, the company has announced.

‘The Metro’ gives a production speed of up to 362 square metres per hour and is upgradable up to 16 print heads to achieve its top speed, according to a company release.

“ColorJet digital printers have minimalistic downtimes; since we ensure that multi-point quality checks are done at every stage of manufacturing. Creating customer delight is our top priority and we do not leave any stone unturned in achieving the same,” Colorjet India’s Brand Manager Smarth Bansal said.

Automatic temperature control enables print heads to deliver same print results, while specially integrated VPC technology ensures smooth flow of inks for uninterrupted production runs, he said.

‘The Metro’ prints on any kind of fabric, ranging from 0.1mm to 30mm including cotton, polyester, silk, viscose, wool, nylon, acetate and various blended fabrics.

“This printer with awesome scalable properties suits all needs of the textile printing business and ensures the least payback period. It is capable of meeting ever changing requirements,” he said.

“Buyers visiting the ColorJet stall at ITME India will be able to witness how the Metro has been synchronised and engineered specifically to produce the best results with reactive inks,” he said.

The company also plans to install more than 100 digital textile printing machines by 2017, he added.

ColorJet’s ‘Made in India’ technology and state-of–the-art manufacturing facility has been the major breakthroughs in achieving its goals. The company has succeeded in keeping its machine costs, up to 30% lower than Italian and Japanese machines, he said.

The company has been able to offer competitive prices without compromising on quality due to three main reasons.

Firstly, the company has adapted efficient Indian engineering and efficiently built its machines with the assurance that customers get a rugged and long-lasting technology.
