Textile Association’s Mumbai Unit To Host Seminar On Opportunities In The Weaving Sector

Textile Association (India) Mumbai unit plans to organise a seminar on ‘Opportunities in current challenges in the weaving sector’ on Saturday, April 22 at Hotel Fortune Park Galaxy in Vapi, Gujarat.

Textile technologists will share their thoughts on how to meet challenges in the weaving sector. Noted industry experts will not only share their views but also outline the future path for the Indian textile industry, according to a release.

More than 200 delegates are expected to attend the event. Eminent industrialists, reputed professionals and renowned experts from diverse fields of textiles have been invited to address the gathering.

Topics discussed would include weaving at the preparatory stage to value addition keeping in mind the quality concepts of international standards as well as ‘Zero defect and zero effect’ (ZED).

The seminar will cover issues related to government initiatives for helping the weaving sector. There will be a panel discussion on ‘How to upgrade weaving technology to achieve export targets’, the release said.
