Xaar 1201 Printhead Leads The Way At The Shanghai Ad And Sign Show 2017

Xaar 1201, the thin film piezo-silicon MEMS technology-based printhead developed by United Kingdom-based Xaar Plc was the highlight at this year’s Shanghai International Ad & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition in Shanghai, China, from March 8 to March 11.

A number of Xaar’s development partners demonstrated the printhead’s capabilities at the show.

Xaar’s India-based partner Colorjet presented its AuraJet printer also with Xaar 1201 printheads, while its Chinese partners like Guangzhou Xucheng Electronic Technology Co Ltd (Xucheng), Gongzheng Group Co Ltd and Zhengzhou New Century Digital Print Technology Co Ltd (New Century), displayed printers using the Xaar 1201 printhead with eco-solvent ink.

Human Digital Technology (Shanghai) Co Ltd also displayed three of its Xaar 1201 printhead based printers, with either eco-solvent or aqueous ink.
