STINGbye To Present Anti-Mosquito Fabrics At Techtextil

STINGbye, a Barcelona-based Spanish textile major is all set to flood Tecchtextil fair in Frankfurt this year with anti-mosquito attire which include T-shirts, pants, socks and caps. The fair in Frankfurt will be held between May 9 and 12.

The anti-mosquito attire from STINGbye has been on sale for two years. The Spanish brand comprises elaboration of clothes bathed in Permethrin, a substance that prevents mosquito bites.  These attires are capable of withstanding up to 100 washes. According to STINGbye, these attires are odourless and have received 94% success certification from laboratories that have international recognition.

STINGbye S.L. is a textile company with more than 20 years of experience in the sector. The company aims to work on tissue efficiency to prevent vectors from attacking people. Vectors in the medical field are everything that can transmit a disease by itching. STINGbye clothes protect people from tiger mosquitoes or common mosquitoes and also lice, bedbugs and ticks. Consequently, the fabrics act as a barrier against diseases like dengue fever, yellow fever or Zika.

In 2016, STINGbye had put on sale the hair ties lice protectors.  According to Silvia Oviedo, general manager of STINGbye, "Our tie is designed to save a lot of headaches for parents and their children. We saw a clear need in the market and so we decided to develop this article. The hair tie lice protector has the same effectiveness as all STINGbye clothes and like all other fabrics we manufacture, they are 50% polyester and 50% cotton and do not cause allergies.”

STINGbye items are suitable for people of all ages and are perfect clothes to enjoy outdoor activities or trips to areas exposed to mosquitoes and other vectors in complete safety. Expanding horizons, STINGbye recently has also introduced pet clothing, such as handkerchiefs to protect dogs from vector bites. The fabrics are certified by OEKO-TEX class I, the Swiss Tropical Institute SWISS TPH and AITEX.
