China-based Sinowin Chemical Fibre Company Ltd recently commissioned ten machines based on the new Flex-6 concept for manufacturing polyamide 66 industrial yarns, it has been announced.
Sinowin Chemical Fiber Company Ltd is an industrial yarn manufacturer which entered the Chinese market in 2015. It has specialised in airbag yarns manufactured using Oerlikon Barmag polyamide 66 low denier industrial yarn (LDI) and medium denier industrial yarn (MDI) systems. It also makes sewing yarn, besides yarns for luggage, sails and tarpaulins.
Incidentally, the Switzerland-based Oerlikon group’s manmade fibres division has announced this development shortly before the Techtextil exhibition opens its doors in Frankfurt, Germany, from May 9 to May 12.
The new machine’s components have been optimised to the respective application, which considerably reduce the required space compared to conventional solutions.
Oerlikon Barmag Sales Director Oliver Lemke said, “With its new godet configuration, the Flex-6 concept promises an unparalleled price-performance ratio for the production of high-end yarns. Sinowin is therefore the first industrial yarn manufacturer in China to deploy our new technology.”
Sinowin Chemical Fibre Company General Manager Sheng Jian Wang said that the company is completely committed to creating value for its customers.
“We are striving to become a leading ‘Made in China’ enterprise in the chemical fibre industry. For this, we require state-of-the-art technologies that manufacture quality products. Oerlikon Barmag has an excellent reputation for its PA66 industrial yarn process,” he said.
