The 44th India International Knit Fair Begins At IKFA Complex In Tirupur

The 44th India International Knit Fair (IKF) for the Spring-Summer Collection 2018 began from May 10 to May 12, at the fully air-conditioned India Knit Fair Association (IKFA) complex, in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. India Knit Fair Association has been conducting the India Knit Fair since 21 years with the objective of showcasing knitwear items from India.

 

The trade fair has emerged as one among the most reputed knitwear trade events in the world. The best of brand leaders, stores, wholesalers, importers have identified Tirupur as one of the major sources for the consumer’s requirements. IKF aims to showcase the end-to-end products pertaining to the knitwear segment, with support from The Apparel Export Promotion Council as well as the Tirupur Exporters’ Association (TEA).

 

Participants will display pullovers, cardigans, dresses, skirts, hooded t-shirts, shorts, pajamas, ensembles, blouses, golfing polo shirts, underwear, boxer shorts, nightwear, leggings, sweat shirts, bustier sets, washed look garments, jogging suits, swimwear, tracksuits and an extensive collection of cotton blended garments for men, women, children as well as kids. Over the years, IKF has maintained a good number of buyers and importer from all over the world including buying agents representing important buyers and chain stores aboard.

 

Tirupur is 40 km away from the Coimbatore Airport in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Regular flights connect Coimbatore to all major metros. An IKF helpdesk has been set up at the Coimbatore Airport to ensure a smooth passage of participants to the event.
