Huge Bangladesh Contingent To Display Their Products at Paris Apparel Sourcing Show

Texworld-Apparel Sourcing, one of the world’s leading fabrics and apparel exhibitions, has attracted a 26-strong contingent from Bangladesh, the second largest garment exporter after China. The four-day exhibition will be held in Paris and commence on September 18, 2017.

This is the eleventh time Bangladesh is having a mega participation in the prestigious Paris show. Michael Sherpe, managing director of Messe Frankfurt, France issued a statement on the participation, which stated, “Bangladesh’s presence at this exhibition has taken the quality of fair up by several notches.”

Omer Salahuddin, the head of Messe Frankfurt Bangladesh said, “Texworld-Apparel Sourcing is France’s biggest apparel sourcing fair. We have various pavilions for countries like Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Vietnam, China, Ethiopia among a host of others.”

Dwelling on the variety provided by the sourcing countries, he added, “It’s unparalleled as no other fair provides this wide a choice. Purchasers and visitors will be arriving from UK and the European Union countries.” Referring to the previous year, he said, “Over 1530 exhibitors from 110 countries took part in the exhibition in 2016. The range of sourcing countries included UK, France, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Germany.”

Also participating in the show by occupying a country pavilion for the fifth time will be Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) of Bangladesh.

The cream of Bangladesh’s exhibitors, Zaber and Zubair has been chosen for privilege of displaying htier products in a special elite zone. The fair will also feature exhibitors from Turkey, Portugal and Netherlands.
