Coach Expands Indian Presence With Its Latest Store At Delhi International Airport

Tapestry Inc, a leading New York-based fashion company which owns Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman brands, has opened its third Coach store in India.

 

The latest store, spread over an area of 80 square metres, has been inaugurated by the fashion company at the Delhi international airport, located in the duty-free shopping zone at Terminal 3.

 

According to the information published on Coach’s website, its two stores one each in Mumbai and New Delhi are already operational. The Mumbai store is located in Palladium Mall while the New Delhi store is housed at DLF Emporia Mall.

 

Flemingo Group, which also operates the Mumbai’s duty-free store, will manage the latest Coach store at the Delhi international airport.

 

“The store opening at Delhi airport is part of our travel retail expansion strategy. Customers can experience our new store environment and latest offerings,” Alessandro Zamuner, Vice President of Coach International has been quoted as saying in media reports.

 

In view of the booming Indian fashion retail market, various international fashion labels like H&M, GAP among others are rapidly increasing their presence in the country to increase sales.

 

Coach too expects a rise in India sales with the latest store in the Indian capital.
