Truetzschler Takes Over Toyota Industry Corporation’s Combing Machine Business

Truetzschler will take over complete responsibility of Toyota’s combing machine business from engineering to sales, service as well as spare parts, including HARA service and spare parts business from February 1, 2018, it has been announced.

Incidentally, Toyota Industry Corporation of Japan and Germany based Trützschler had begun a successful co-operation with a joint development of a new combing machine in 2010 – the TCO12 – which was exhibited at the ITMA Asia in Shanghai 2012 for the first time.

Since then, both companies have sold several hundred machines worldwide, including the newly developed Super Lap TSL12. The installations are running to the satisfaction of customers, the manufacturer stated.

After about five years of successful co-operation both Toyota and Truetzschler have now come to this new arrangement in order to strengthen their complementary partnership by focussing their individual efforts for further innovations and services to the markets, the company stated.

With about 3,000 employees, Trützschler is one of the world’s leading textile machinery manufacturers which specialises in machines, installations and accessories for spinning preparation, nonwovens and the man-made fibre industry.

The headquarters of the more than 125-year-old company is located in Mönchengladbach, Germany. Its subsidiaries, Trützschler Nonwovens and Trützschler Man-Made Fibres with two production sites, besides Trützschler Card Clothing, are also located in Germany.

Sites in India, China, Brazil, USA and Switzerland, as well as a number of service centres, provide customer proximity in the important textiles processing areas.
