Delhi-Based Fashion Coreographer Lokesh Sharma Showcases Indian Fashion At Shop Qatar

Shop Qatar a month-long fiesta happening in Doha organized by Qatar Tourism saw a magnificent show by Bollywood designers such as Vikram Phadnis, Archana Kochhar and Mandira Wirk. The direction of the Bollywood Fashion Show was done by Indian Fashion Choreographer Lokesh Sharma.

Lokesh hails from Delhi and has his roots in the artistic pink city of Jaipur. He was the only Indian representative to promote Indian Culture at the Shop Qatar festival. At Shop Qatar he promoted Indian handicrafts, hand embroidery, hand block printing, handmade bangles and jewellery and leather shoes by using installations and activations.

"It’s an honour be here in a different country, and to showcase the best of designs from our country. Also it was a great experience working with design legends such as Vikram Phadnis, Archana Kochhar along with Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan,” said Lokesh.

The show was organized by Rahat Mansoor Ali, with designers and talents from more than 15 countries displaying their art.
