High-Tex From Germany To Showcase German Textile Technology At Atlanta

Atlanta in the US is the next destination for Germany’s cream of textile machinery and technical textile manufacturers. The Techtextil and Texprocess shows will take place in Atlanta in May 2018. It happens to be the largest show in US for technical textiles, nonwovens, machinery, sewn products and equipment. German textile show High-Tex will showcase technical textiles, textile machines and textile processing machines at the venue in Atlanta.

The High-Tex from Germany is sending a 66-company strong contingent that will represent German textiles, textile machinery, garment technology at the American Trade Fair. High-Tex from Germany is hosted by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie – BMWi) and the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (Messeausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V. – AUMA).

It displays textile innovations exhaustively with a design that covers an area of 1,300 square meters with products that are made in Germany. The products fall under the category of technical textiles, nonwowvens, textile-processing machines, smart textiles and textile research. The German team will also press into service lectures, demonstrations and multi-media presentations at the Plaza.

As representatives of the German textile sector, the joint presentation within the framework of High-Tex from Germany is a great opportunity to cultivate existing contacts in the USA and to make new ones. With this exhibition, they are bringing their technologies to their customers in the USA,” explained Marc Lorch, Member of the Board of Zwissler Holding and Exhibitor President of the participating companies.
