French Apparel Chain Promod To Offer Online Options In India

There is one more apparel online stores on the card for the Indian markets from a French company that already has retail presence in the country. Promod, the French apparel brand has plans to launch their online facility to avail of the recent boom trends in the e-commerce markets, stated a company release.

The online store will make available its full range of items that are currently present in the Indian retail shelves. However, there won’t be any rebate as the company stated that the online prices will be same as the prices at the retail outlets.

The company spokesperson said that their Indian clients can avail of their online service by collecting their orders from the store of their choice or go in for home delivery. The company will commence its e-reservation service in late 2018.

Besides, Promod has plans to set up 100 retail stores pan-India by the year 2025. This plan envisages the establishment of the brand in Tier II and Tier III cities of India.

In a media statement, Nadine Caux, Managing Director, Promod, disclosed, “We initiated our digital sales in India through Myntra and the response has been very encouraging in the first year. We are now looking at offering around 2000 plus styles in the coming year and looking at doubling our turnover. This shows a great opportunity for us to launch our own portal and we are confident that consumer satisfaction through this omni-channel route will attract more loyalty towards the brand."
