Tirupur To Host Textile Research Conclave on Feb. 9-10, 2018
The Tirupur Exporters’ Association (TEA) in conjunction with Knitwear Fashion Institute and Indian Texpreneurs Federation will be hosting the Textile Research Conclave at Tirupur on February 9 and 10, 2018.
According to Raja Shanmugam, President TEA, the conclave would bring together scientists and industrialists on a single platform. “The objective of the event is to encourage product diversification, productivity, and sustainability in textile clusters,” he added.
The topics deliberated on would include technical textiles, opportunities, business challenges for textile start-ups, and business excellence in textile industry.
Shanumugam said that the event was backed by the Union ministry of Textiles.
