Jean-west Partners Cotton Australia For New Brand of Women’s Wear

Cotton growers in Australia have opted to pair with fashion brand Jeanwest. This collaboration is intended to come out with a new range of women’s clothing made from 100 per cent Australian cotton.

Jeans-west has welcomed this move as a part of its commitment to traceability and sourcing local material. The new range of clothing is officially certified as being made from sourced-and-grown Australian cotton. The clothing collection is currently accessible at Jeans-west stores across Australia and New Zealand. The company spokesman informed that one bale of Australian cotton is able to generate up to 750 shirts.

Jean-west has developed the range by entering into a partnership with Cotton Australia. The high quality of the home-grown fiber makes the venture very attractive for both partners.

According to Jeans-west product manager Lisa Hunter the collaboration was aided by the soft hand-feel and high quality of cotton. Jean-west is excited about the future prospects of having work with Cotton Australia. This has in store for us another glorious chapter of Australian cotton story, she added.

Adam Kay, Chief Executive Cotton Australia responded to the venture with equal enthusiasm stating the farmers were excited about delivering the new range. He said that it was a privilege for Cotton Australia to work with Jean-west and the women cotton growers were very excited to see the new range.
