Seminar on Wet Processing Textile Technology Hosted By Kusters Calico and Sagar Group

Germany-based Kusters Calico along with Sagar Group of Enterprises jointly hosted a seminar on “Continuous concepts of Wet Processing Textiles” recently at the Lalit Hotel near the international airport at Mumbai.

The German textile giant is renowned for its processing of a variety of woven and knitted fabrics. The machines that figure in its wide product portfolio include Desizing and Singeing; Bleaching, both in single and double stage steamer; Mercerising; Washing; Dyeing in cold pad batch and pad steam and lastly Dewatering.

The main speakers were Sushil Verma, Managing Director Kusters Calico and Priyesh Shah Managing Director Sagar Group. While Sushil Verma dwelt on the implications of the technology for the textile industry in the near future, Priyesh presented the technical know-how of how the Kuster products that are marketed in India function seamlessly for weavers.

The seminar basically aimed at increasing awareness about products available in the area of wet processing, was among a series of events held pan India in the metro cities. The Indian textile machinery users need to have an increased awareness of the latest products for wet processing textiles on the shelf opined Sushil Verma.

The team of presenters at the seminar comprised technical experts who dwelt at length on the benefits of the wet processing concepts that were currently trending in the global markets.

Kuster’s choice of Sagar for partnering them for the seminar event was also highlighted by the speakers.
