CAI organizes presentation by Dr. C. D. Mayee on Pink Bollworm

The Cotton Association of India (CAI), the apex body of the cotton sector is organizing a meeting with Dr. CD Mayee, President of Indian Society for Cotton Improvement (ISCI) to discuss the widely prevalent negative effect of Pink Bollworm on Cotton and its overall impact on production despite increase in cultivation area this year.

The organized discussion will be on the subject of “Management of Pink Bollworm” on Wednesday, the 10^th January 2018 from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Association, Cotton Exchange Bldg., Cotton Green (East), Mumbai-400 033. This talk on Pink Bollworm will be delivered by Dr. C. D. Mayee, President of Indian Society for Cotton Improvement (ISCI). He will make a presentation on the subject and suggest the way out.

Dr. C. D. Mayee, is a President of Indian Society for Cotton Improvement (ISCI) and is a noted scholar in agriculture particularly cotton having worked on very important positions in the country which include Vice-Chancellor of MAU, Parbhani, Director, CICR, Nagpur, Agriculture Commissioner, Government of India, Chairman of Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Dr. Mayee is currently the Chairman of AFC Ltd.; Vice-Chairman, NAAS; Member of African Biosafety Committee. He is also associated with a host of other bodies and he is a Fellow of Maharashtra Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He has a vast experience and he is extensively travelled across the world.
