Bangladesh Govt. Showcases Two-Day Jute Fair

Recently Bangladesh held a fair that was meant for showcasing latest jute products to capture the imagination of the international markets and boost the country’s earnings. The ministry officials recalled that Jute was at one point of time regarded as the golden fiber of the country. It had played and still plays an important role in the development of the region. Bangladesh hosted a two-day long fair on the occasion of National Jute day 2019 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre. With an eye on environment friendly goods, the Bangladesh government is going on an all out effort to advance jute products and increase their export earnings from the international markets. The participants in the fair showcased more than 100 jute products. Both traditional and modern forms of products were visible. Visitors and buyers caught up with the latest fashionable bags both for casual and formal use.
