China Keqiao International Textile Expo 2013 (Fall) to Open Soon

China Keqiao International Textile Expo 2013 (Fall) will be held in China Textile City International Convention & Exhibition Centre on October 25-28, 2013. The Expo is sponsored by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and supported by China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Textiles, Commerce Department of Zhejiang Province and Shaoxing County People's Government. Following the aim of "leading the cooperation between China Textile Market and global famous enterprises, obtaining success in a textile career and the gist of 'Fashion, Quality, Green'," China Keqiao International Textile Expo 2013 is trying to be an important international event in exhibitions of textile fabrics and accessories by the principles of "Internationalization, Brand, Specialization".

As many as 600 enterprises have booked 1,423 standard booths. Thirty overseas enterprises from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, South Korea, etc. will attend the China Keqiao International Textile Expo 2013. China Textile City covers a market area of almost 3.4 million square meters, and has become one of the professional pageants and the largest gathering places for textile enterprises in China. The Expo has distinctive textile trade platforms: Traditional Trade Zone, International Trade Zone, Textile Raw Materials Trade Zone, etc. On display will be textile fabrics and accessories, apparel, home textiles and textile machinery.

Shaoxing County is the biggest textile industry hub in China, with nearly 10,000 textile manufacturing enterprises, 50,000 advanced shuttleless looms and first-rate technical equipment. About 3 million tons of various kinds of chemical fiber, 6 billion meters of chemical fabrics, 19 billion meters of printing & dyeing cloth and 300 million pieces (sets) of clothing are produced here every year. As a result, each year, fabrics worth US$ 9 billion are transported to other parts of the world.

China Textile City is located at Keqiao, Shaoxing County, more than 25 kilometers from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport to the west. It is a textile distributing center of the largest scale, which produces the greatest variety of textile products in China. In addition, it is the largest textile professional market in Asia, and one of the biggest trade centers in the world. Covering a market area of nearly 3 million square meters, China Textile City has more than 26,000 business rooms, 22,000 registered enterprises, 5,500 overseas permanent purchasers and nearly 1,000 permanent overseas representative agencies. It makes transactions for more than 50,000 kinds of fabrics. Therefore, a quarter of global chemical fabrics are transacted here.
