'Maksteel's Niko Bright Enhances Life Of Healds'

How has ITMA been for you? ITMA has been a phenomenal exhibition for us, it was more than what we expected it to be. We received a good number of new customers here and good number of enquiries for our products. We are happy. From where all did you receive visitors? We received visitors mainly from Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, China and from many parts of Europe. Of course, we had many visitors from India as well. What new did Maksteel showcase at ITMA? We showcased our new brand Niko Bright, nickel coating on our healds. This coating gives the healds an enhanced life and better atmospheric resistance. We have done this development in the existing product to make it equally competitive to stainless steel. This type of nickel coating will certainly reduce costs and give the same enhanced life as that of stainless steel. Tell us more about Niko Bright? It is a new European technology of nickel coating which we have incorporated with our existing healds. This is exactly what customers are looking for - they don't want to invest more in just expensive material (stainless steel) but also want a good life for the product. So this is a solution that we are providing to our buyers. Is Niko Bright available in market for buyers? Not yet, we have launched the product here at ITMA for the first time. We would begin the sale of Niko Bright by October with a new and very attractive packaging. Do you sell to OEMs, or to distributors too? We sell our products directly to the mill users, OEM's- especially to prestigious European OEM manufactures. We have good distribution network PAN India. OEMs account for 18 -20% of our total business, 60% is through our distribution network and the remaining 20-25% is for our end users.
