Mafatlal Launches Mohinee Range For Women

Mafatlal Industries Ltd.(MIL) launched ‘Mohinee’ women’s wear fabrics during the company’s Dealers & Agents Conferencce 2019 from August 19-21, 2019. Priyavrata Mafatlal, CEO & ED, MIL stated that Mafatlal fabrics are extremely popular with well established brands across the globe. “So, we plan to foray into the new but familiar areas in textiles.” “MIL is already present in womenswear segment through B2B and the same strength is now used in B2C,” said V.K. The fabrics will be sold through conventional two-tier distribution network across India. There is no OTC fabric brand available at PAN India level for womenswear fabric in taka form. There is ample opportunity in this segment to grow and we want to be a most preferred brand in womenswear in the mid to premium price points,”  said Maheshwari. According  to Gaurav Gupta, Vice President (Marketing & Sales) of Mafatlal Industries Ltd., Nadiad, the company’s focus has been on developing  breathable fabrics, that are also  environment friendly. The range comprises of fabrics comprising  of new generation fibres such as Modal, viscose, Tencel , linen, flax, bamboo, etc. The company’s commitment to quality and the environment is evident from its  various certifications including OEKO-TEX Quality Certification,  ISO 9001:2015,ISO 14001-2015 certifications, GOTS and OCS Certifications. Mafatlal has an integrated,state-of-the-art mill in Gujarat. The Nadiad unit caters to its international customers such as Marks & Spencers, Next, Jack & Jones, Zara, Talbots, Ann Taylor, among others.
