India: Fiberweb India posts net loss of Rs 3.58 mln

Fiberweb India Ltd, manufacturer of spun bond nonwoven roll goods, has posted a net loss of Rs 3.58 mln, during July-September 2013. In the corresponding period of last year (CPYL), the company had suffered a loss of Rs 813000

This is despite the higher net sales that Fiberweb India has recorded in this quarter. Net sales stood at Rs 141.34 mln, a growth of 11.7% over the corresponding quarter, and an increase of 63% over the previous quarter.

The company’s losses during the half year ended September 30, 2013 have also mounted significantly. At Rs 10.39 mln, net loss is much higher than that in the corresponding period at Rs 2.16 mln.
