Cleankore, committed to cleaning up denim at the core, is expanding its services to Asia. The company has appointed Tak Sang Group as its first licensee in China. Says Darryl Costin Jr., CEO, CleanKore, “For over 30 years, Tak Sang has prioritised a commitment to sustainability. Through green materials and green production, Tak Sang has proven to go above and beyond industry standards without compromising quality. They have invested the time and resources to save water, electricity and chemicals throughout the production cycle. By partnering with CleanKore, Tak Sang can provide even more savings while also offering a solution to the denim industries’ top initiative: the complete elimination of potassium permanganate spray. We are honoured to partner with Tak Sang and look forward to our bright future together.” Said Ivan Sze, Chairman of Tak Sang Group, “Together with CleanKore innovative dyeing technology, we have created beautiful denim that are potassium permanganate free and laser friendly. The yarn has a white core and a small ring of indigo dye which gives the fabric the classic authentic look. In the process, we saved significant amount of water, chemicals and energy. I believe business and sustainability must go hand-in-hand.”
