Turkey Set To Welcome Global Textile Industry To Twin Fairs

And Turkey is confident of hosting a successful Istanbul International Textile Machinery Fair TME from September 8-11, 2021. TME will cover every segment of the textile industry. Alongside TME will be Texstart Yarn and Fabric Fair. This will create a new platform where the international textile industry can also interact with their buyers. There will also be trend areas and discussion panels. Turkey’s textile trade has remained strong. Exports of Turkish textiles and raw materials has risen by 40%. New investments in textile manufacturing continue uninterrupted. Order delivery times of domestic and foreign machinery manufacturers have been extended by 6-9 months. Turkey’s textile machinery imports have risen by 45% to US$ 1.5 billion in 2020. According to CEMATEX member association, Turkey today is among the top two markets for textile machinery.
