On the National Handloom Day, Fabric Plus has announced its collaboration with LIVA, a brand from the house of Aditya Birla Group and has introduced innovative offerings consisting textile yarn using LIVA Modal fibres from Birla Cellulose and Eri silk. LIVA Modal is a 100% nature- based fibre with unique features of magnificent drape, matt sheen and light weight. LIVA modal can be easily blended with other fibres, be it silk or cotton. Liva and Fabric Plus together have reimagined handloom fabrics to create high-end fashion Sarees, Mekhala Chadars, Stoles and more to give new age consumers a unique rich experience with handloom fabrics. This is first of its kind initiative in North East India wherein two leading textile players have joined hands to promote sustainable handloom textiles. Speaking about the initiative, J. Roy of Fabricplus said, ‘’ Fabricplus and LIVA association will unleash hidden potential of the business allowing the consumers to have more pleasing experience and customers to remain even more loyal.
