MANTRA Signs For MoU With Uka Tarsadia University
Manmade Textiles Research Association (MANTRA), Surat has signed an MoU with Uka Tarsadia University of Surat, for introducing short term courses in textiles. Under the MoU, MANTRA will offer training to technical graduates in automated textile production in spinning, weaving, textile wet processing, garmenting and technical textiles. The TRA’s training to students of Uka Tarsadia University will also include textile innovations, R&D, and 4.0 solutions for the textile industry. “The main objective of this collaboration is to impart employable skills to students aspiring for employment in the textile industry. Technical human capital development for the industry is the need of the hour,” said Dr S.K. Basu, Director, MANTRA.
