Bharat Tex 2024 Will Be The World’s Largest Textile & Apparel Exhibitions - Bhadresh Dodhia

In a pre-event tête-à-tête with Bharat Tex 2024 Co-chairman, Mr. Bhadresh Dodhia claims that Bharat Tex 2024 will be the world’s largest textile & apparel exhibition. The show would also be an annual event henceforth.

What are the primary goals of SRTEPC to achieve from the Bharat Tex 2024 mega event?

SRTEPC is an Export Promotion Council that promotes exports of the Man-Made Fibre Textiles and Technical Textiles. The primary goal of the Council for participating in Bharat Tex 2024 is to further enhance its visibility among global players and also to showcase its services.

In addition, the companies participating in Bharat Tex 2024 through SRTEPC will lead to boost in Exports of Man-made Fibre Textiles and Technical Textiles.

How SRTEPC is preparing to participate in the show and how many exhibitors would be exhibiting from the Manmade and Synthetic Textile & Apparel sector?

About 140 Exhibitors covering an area of over 10000 sq. mtrs.  will be participating in Bharat Tex 2024 through SRTEPC. The entire range of Man-made Fibre Textiles such as Fibre, Yarn, Fabrics, Made-ups (including Home Textiles) and Technical Textiles will be displayed by these participating companies. 

How are exhibitors going to benefit from the show? Can you please elaborate for the benefit of the potential participants?

Bharat Tex 2024 will be the World’s largest textiles exhibitions with over 3500 foreign Companies visiting the fair. In addition, there is going to be a large number of buyers from the domestic market.  Exhibitors are certainly going to benefit with strong possibilities of getting export orders and investors.  

How this mega event perceived to change the export scenario of Indian textile and apparels?

Bharat Tex 2024 will surely change the export scenario of Indian textiles and apparels. As mentioned earlier, a large number of foreign buyers will be visiting the event.  Further Bharat Tex 2024 is now going to be an annual event. The event will bring large an opportunity in Trade and Investments.

As an Export Promotion council, what other activities SRTEPC is planning during the show and in FY 2024?

As an Export Promotion Council SRTEPC will be organizing conferences on various subjects related to MMF Textiles and Technical Textiles.  The Council will also be organizing a Special Indo- Turkish event on February 27, 2024 since over 100 companies from Turkey including Chairman of Textiles Associations / Trade bodies will be participating in Bharat Tex 2024 as buyers through SRTEPC.

The Council will also be creating a Theme Pavilion for Technical Textiles. In addition, the Council will have another booth to showcase its services.
