Tayu Has Everything To Offer What The Indian Market Needs In Terms Of Quality And Competitive Pricing

How was ITMA Asia + CITME 2014 for Tayu? What new was on display this time?

Tayu Machine (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. displayed four working machines this time at ITMA Asia + CITME 2014.

1. Double jersey 1 X 1 Rib 8" dia Body Size 16G, 16 feeders - This machine was producing material for leggings using 21s combed cotton with 40D Lycra and very well received by customers.

2. Double jersey Jacquard with coarse 10G working in three colours - This machine was producing designs for fabric with a coarse gauge of 10G using 16s/2 Acrylon with electronic jacquard

3. Double jersey interlock Open Width with 40G - This machine was producing spacer fabrics which has two fabrics with a monofilament yarn between them providing the air gap of upto 3.2 mm knitted together. The materials were 50D Polyester + 20D Lycra + 30D FDY

4. Single jersey 6 colour striper with jacquard in 28G - This machine was producing various motifs within the stripes produced on the fabrics using 32s T/C with electronic jacquard.

Apart from the double jersey open width machines, single jersey stripers and double jersey Jacquards, Tayu also displayed an 8" diameter double jersey 1X1 Rib machine producing material which could be used for leggings. This has been very well received by the customers.

The stall was well attended with Indian, Chinese and Bangladeshi customers.

How is Tayu performing in India and in Bangladesh?

Tayu's performance in India and Bangladesh has been very well received. The machines are performing in tubular, open width, interlock (3.2 feeders 32G), auto striper 4 colours category.

What is your perception of the Indian knitting sector and its progress over the next couple of years?

The Indian knitting sector is seeing different products which are local to a particular area coming up in big quantities. Hence, the vista of our offerings have also increased accordingly. Hence, this sector will continue to see around 1000 machines of various diameters coming into the Indian market.

How will Tayu make the most of this growth potential?

Tayu has everything to offer what the market needs in terms of quality and competitive pricing. Unlike the common perception about cheap Chinese machines in this category, Tayu machines are sturdily built to last long and perform consistently.
