Mimaki Launches TS200-1600 Sublimation Printer For Fast, Affordable Textile Production

Mimaki Europe, a leading manufacturer of industrial inkjet printers and cutting plotters, announced the launch of the TS200-1600, its latest sublimation transfer inkjet printer. The new model debuted at The Sign Show / The Print Show in Birmingham, UK (23–25 September 2025), marking a major expansion in Mimaki’s entry-level dye-sublimation line.

Building on the success of the TS100, the TS200-1600 delivers faster production speeds, superior colour performance, and versatile applications at a competitive price point. Designed for small shops, start-ups, and growing businesses, it enables cost-effective short-run textile production and customised goods with professional-level results.

Powered by Mimaki’s proven 330 Series technology, the printer offers smooth gradients, vivid colours, and precise accuracy. Its extended eight-colour ink set includes orange and violet for richer tones and fluorescent pink and yellow for standout designs in sportswear, décor, promotional items, and soft signage.

The TS200-1600 runs on OEKO-TEX® ECO-PASSPORT certified Sb411 inks, ensuring high-density, durable, and environmentally responsible prints. This certification helps print providers meet sustainability standards set by global textile brands and eco-conscious consumers.

To enhance efficiency, the printer features 2L degassed ink packs that prevent air bubbles and maintain consistent print quality. Operators can shake inks without removal, simplifying maintenance and reducing downtime. Paired with RasterLink7 RIP software and PICT, Mimaki’s free cloud-based monitoring tool, the system ensures smooth production management.
