Michael Preysman, co-founder and former co-CEO of Everlane, has launched a new venture, Stillradical, aimed at reviving the transparency and sustainability principles on which Everlane was built. The move follows the recent acquisition of Everlane by fast-fashion giant Shein, a development Preysman said came as a shock, revealing he learned of the deal just 20 minutes before it was finalised. Founded in 2011, Everlane gained prominence for its focus on ethical sourcing, transparent pricing and responsible manufacturing. Preysman, who left the company in 2020, said the Shein acquisition runs counter to the brand's original mission, prompting him to return with a new venture focused on restoring consumer trust and transparency.
