Suryalakshmi posts net profit of Rs 491.05 lakh in Q3 2014

Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills Ltd has announced a net profit of Rs 491.05 lakh in Q3 2014. This is much higher than the company’s net profit of Rs 158.95 lakh in Q3 2013. During Q2 2014, the company’s net profit stood at Rs 584.75 lakh. The spinner’s net sales during Q3 2014 were to the tune of Rs 17653.91 lakh, compared to 15130.94 lakh in Q3 2013. During Q2 2014, net sales amounted to Rs 18354.08 lakh.

 

The company’s raw material costs at Rs 9932.78 lakh was lower compared to Rs 10415.36 lakh during Q3 2013. In Q2 2014, raw material costs were to the tune of Rs 11237.29 lakh. Its power and fuel costs at Rs 1892.02 lakh during Q3 2014 was higher than that in Q3 2013 at Rs 1394.42 lakh.
