The institute continues to strengthen the adoption of technical textiles and environmentally responsible manufacturing solutions. India's textile and apparel sector contributes nearly 2.3% to GDP, 13% to industrial production, and around 12% to exports, while the technical textiles market is projected to surpass US$ 40 billion by 2030. The event underscored NITRA's enduring role in building a globally competitive, innovation driven, and future ready textile industry aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat.
