The
German machinery specialist will mark its anniversary in September 2027 with an
event at its headquarters in Obertshausen, near Frankfurt, bringing together
customers, partners and textile experts from around the world.
Instead
of a conventional anniversary celebration, KARL MAYER plans a live showcase
across warp knitting, technical textiles and warp preparation, with new machine
generations, textile applications and fabric concepts running in real
production environments.
More
than 5,000 sq m across its Textile Innovation Center and Product Innovation
Center will become the stage for the programme.
The
focus is firmly on what comes next: higher productivity, new applications,
better efficiency and fresh business opportunities for textile manufacturers.
Visitors
will also have access to KARL MAYER specialists throughout the event week for
technical discussions and application-specific consultations.
The
anniversary programme will effectively replace a major ITMA presence for KARL
MAYER in 2027, with the company choosing to focus its activities at
Obertshausen.
But
the technology preview starts earlier. At ITMA ASIA 2026 in Shanghai, KARL
MAYER will showcase developments across two booths covering warp knitting,
technical textiles and warp preparation, followed by a Product Show at its
Changzhou facility.
