Belarus for Free Trade with Eurasian Union

Belarus advocated an entire annulment of the restrictions in the commerce inside the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and the cooperation with other regions, according to a report of the chancellery. The document, which gathers the milestones of the foreign policy in 2015, emphasizes the contribution of Belarus to the process of consolidation of the UEE, a mechanism of regional integration integrated also by Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kirguistán and Russia.

 

The free trade area came into force on the first of January, 2015 between Belorussia, Kazakhstan and Russia; then they joined Armenia, to a few weeks, and Kirguistán in May, under the rotary presidency belarusa. According to Minsk, despite the results in the short life of the commercial mechanism, "we do not manage to advance in the field of the entire annulment of the restrictions in the mutual commerce".

There was announced the intention of passing to specify a similar agreement with the Common market of the South, which agglutinates Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Venezuela.
