Techtextil India 2017–Registration Is Open

Launch of Texprocess Pavilion at Techtextil India

 

India’s leading trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens - Techtextil India has opened its registration. In its sixth edition, Techtextil India 2017 is scheduled to take place from 13–15 September in Mumbai.

 

The last edition which hosted 158 exhibitors from 11 countries and 5,050 business visitors from 35 countries effectively led to already over 30% re-bookings for 2017. With the early bird season going on, bookings for exhibition space has intensified. Fifteen months prior to its opening, the organisers have confirmed that prominent players of the technical textiles sector including Welspun, Groz-Beckert, RSWM Ltd, A.T.E. Enterprises, Luwa India among others signed for the sixth edition. The trade fair continues to draw attention globally and is expected to announce its international pavilions in the coming months. More than 6500 sqm have been dedicated for a grand showcase of its 10 product groups and 12 application areas of Agrotech, Buildtech, Clothtech, Geotech, Hometech, Indutech, Medtech, Mobiltech, Oekotech, Packtech, Protech, Sporttech covering the technical textile and nonwoven value chain in its entirety.

 

An important highlight of the 2017 edition will be the launch of the Texprocess Pavilion at Techtextil India, creating an innovation platform for the latest technologies, processes and services for garment-manufacturing and textile processing. Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holding Ltd said, “India is emerging as a powerhouse of both production and consumption of technical textiles. The Texprocess Pavilion will allow domestic players to assess machinery and technical know-how for value addition and product diversification in their business besides opening up a new high-potential market for our international exhibitors.” 

 

Internationally, Texprocess is always held in parallel with Techtextil. With the launch of Texprocess pavilion at Techtextil India 2017, this successful trade fair duo will complete the textile creation value chain for the Indian market. Expanding the product scope of the trade fair, the Texprocess pavilion will also create intense interaction between machinery manufacturers and sector players so that latest process developments and textile innovations can be seen real time.
